Josef learned his trade in Austria in 1974. His European skills in every aspect of asphalt construction are second to none — and he brought every bit of that expertise to the Sunshine Coast when he established Asphalt & Base Construction in 2003.
Together with his wife Anna and son Archy, Josef built this business from the ground up on the Sunshine Coast. The philosophy was simple from the start: do the job properly, charge fairly, and leave every site better than you found it.
That reputation has earned them over 5,000 completed driveways on the Sunshine Coast alone — a figure that speaks for itself. What's behind it? Josef's precision and engineering expertise honed over decades in Europe, combined with Archy's hands-on leadership and communication on site. When you call, you speak to one of them directly.
